GARRETT: After 3 earlier encounters to encourage people at the mall Richie and I were heading back, but Holy Spirit asked us to go upstairs to the space close to the teddy shop . As we ascended the escalator we were full of anticipation and looking forward to meeting who he wanted us to bless. We looked we walked we waited we asked again and during this time I got the same sense of Father's heart for the lost. Then we saw him. As we started the conversation Brian was polite and interested in what we shared but made it clear he was skeptical. About then his wife Julie joined us who has her own journey of reconnection to Papa; a lovely Christian lady who was surprised but happy that we were talking to her Brian about Jesus. He reminded me of my own son of close age and a similar outlook on life: so acting on this prompt I explored if some of the pain of our family was also part of his. In many ways this brought connection. I spoke Father's loving kindness into his past and grace to restore him. Recalling the Father's call to the lost I asked if he would check out Luke 15 where the father runs to the prodigal son then wraps him in his loving arms. As we parted Brian was very keen to check this out for himself. We blessed them. Praise you Papa - you are so very kind and loving to all.
