NICCI: We were on a Reach Out in a different mall from usual and every heart seemed closed. We experienced rejection after rejection. It seemed no-one wanted to talk to us. I ran after a woman with a limp (she was surprisingly fast) but she opted to keep the limp rather than risk prayer. We were under a short time frame and it was nearly time to go. I became desperate and said to God, ‘please let me bless someone and show them your love. Please Lord!’ It was then that I noticed the Lush soap shop.

I decided to buy something small to at least bless one of my fellow Reach Outers. Stepping into the shop the assistant helped me select a lemon shower bomb. As she was doing it, the Holy Spirit prompted me to tell the assistant how much God loves her and that she is a valuable daughter to Him. The girl burst into tears and told me she’d been having a really stressful time and really needed to hear that. She let me pray peace over her and I asked her if she knew Jesus. She shook her head and said no, as she was Hindu. I told her God wanted her to know Him and if anyone asked her about him in the next week she should take it as a sign to find out more about Jesus. She hugged me and thanked me. It was beautiful.
